Seeing that this is a Dutch-founded concept, do let us start with a Dutch movie that showed here recently in Beirut (European Film Festival): Simone. The actor and director appeared at the end of the screening for an interesting questions/answers session, and apparently it was a very personal movie for them both, as was evident by the direction and acting. Another Dutch movie that screened was "Shouf shouf habibi" which was...well, a little stereotyped I thought, but informative nonetheless. Any comments?

Can't send some links to those films as it's quite hard to find anything from Dutch cinema abroad. So far I've seen 'Two sisters' and can't even get the 'Passion fruit' although it was a popular production and the book was translated into I don't know how many languages.
